Skate deck with original photograph by Liam Annis.
Liam is a local born artist whom attended school in Boston and continued his journey westward toward California. Liam’s photography examines the world of skateboarding, a look into the camaraderie and brotherhood between one another and how they’re connected through the love of skateboarding.
These boards are an ode to a place in Boston that Liam and many other skaters in New England hold dear to them. It’s a public park designed not initially for skateboarding but has become a place many would rather go than the skatepark. Nicknamed Eggs, Nashua Street Park resides blocks away from North station and runs along the Charles River. It is here where Liam developed lifelong friendships and some tricks to the trade. The sphere shaped object on the board is what many refer to as an egg.
